I was actually walking around in my Octavia cosplay at conventions with this song playing on my speaker.

I feel like this just foreshadows that “my world is burning down around me” and then, later in the episode, the world is levimagely burning down around her. She seems unbothered like the song.

My dad ignores me, avoids me like the plague. I don't want to associate myself with that ass anymore. I know it's not as bad as so many others but I understand Via somewhat. She replaced Lucifer as my favorite character in the two series.

Would have been cute if at the end of the episode, Stolas carried Octavia asleep in his arms back home and put her to bed like he did when she was little. And just before the door closes, Octavia peaks her eyes open and says "I love you Dad." And Stolas says he loves her back. Ending the episode 😊

I can actually relate to this song. I know what it's like to not have a real father 😒
